The Job
Role Overview
As an AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI solutions that automate manual tasks across our businesses. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to integrate LLMs, data pipelines, computer vision, conversational AI, and agentic frameworks into real-world workflows.
This role requires a mix of hands-on engineering, applied ML, and systems integration—with a strong bias for shipping fast and learning by doing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI solutions to automate repetitive workflows in:
- E-commerce: product enrichment, inventory management, customer support, personalization, WMS optimization.
- Farming SaaS: yield prediction, crop planning, sensor/IoT integration, farm-to-consumer marketplace flows. - Build and maintain AI agents using LLMs (GPT-5, Gemini, Claude, etc.), LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, and RAG pipelines, Vercel, Lovabale.
- Connect AI services into existing systems (Shopify, Netsuite, custom in-house apps).
- Develop monitoring, validation, and feedback loops to ensure accuracy, reliability, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and prototype quick wins.
- Document architectures, workflows, and “AI-fy” playbooks for scalable adoption.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI services, APIs, and frameworks that can be leveraged in our ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python (Node.js/TypeScript a plus).
- Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, vector DBs like Pinecone/Weaviate/FAISS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and APIs.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning fundamentals (NLP, CV, recommendation systems).
- Comfort working with structured/unstructured data, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with API integration (CRM, ERP, e-commerce, analytics, messaging systems).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business pain points into technical AI solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, fast learner, eager to experiment.
- Bonus: experience with agent frameworks, reinforcement learning, or real-time systems.
