• Equipment Maintenance:
o Execute daily inspections, corrective repairs, and optimization of Body Shop assets, including Robot, fixtures, conveyors, and welding systems.
• Operational Support & Downtime Reduction:
o Support preventive maintenance and breakdown response to reduce downtime.
o Train/coach maintenance team and share troubleshooting best practices.
• Technical Documentation & Standards:
o Review technical documentation to support operation and maintenance of the installed equipment
• Training & Knowledge Transfer:
o Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for maintenance technicians to improve their ability to handle first-level control issues.
o Develop "Troubleshooting Guides" and "Best Practice" one-pagers for the wider team.
• Maintenance Planning (Maximo):
o Develop/refine Visual Job Plans. Verify PM schedules for effectiveness and upload/manage them in the Maximo CMMS.
• Problem solving
o Prepare structured 4D problem-solving reports for equipment failures/breakdowns
• Project support:
o Assist in the implementation of planned and P.M. items associated with the new or modified equipment
• Continuous improvement & innovation:
o Execute line improvement initiatives and innovation activities to enhance safety, quality, uptime, and efficiency.
• General Compliance:
o Ensure daily activities and deliverables comply with Ford requirements, including FPS and SQDCPME…

• Technical Foundational Knowledge:
o Demonstrate a solid understanding of industrial electrical components, industrial controls, and sensors (e.g.: PLC, HMI, Robot, relay, VFD, valves, safety devices…).
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
o Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and software diagnostic tools.
