Backend Developer

Your role & responsibilities

• Research and develop software products in the field of Cybersecurity (implementing monitoring and attack detection; managing IS for organizations/enterprises)
• Work with the software development team to receive, analyze, and create new designs/architectures aimed at scale and performance
• Implement performance-oriented architectural optimizations for large systems
• Research and apply new technologies in product development (microservices, cloud-native, CI/CD)
• Work according to the Agile-Scrum model

Your skills & qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…
• English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

Requirements/Competencies:

• At least 3 years of Backend development experience
• Deep knowledge of Golang, Python, NodeJS, Java, C#, or other equivalent BE languages
• Knowledge of OOP, Microservices, Design Patterns, and system design
• Experience in system optimization or participation in large-scale projects with a significant user base. Familiarity with Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), Redis, Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and DevOps tools (Docker, Docker Compose, K8s)
• Ability to write clean & maintainable code, focusing on performance, reusability, and understandability with unit tests
• Clear orientation, willingness to learn new things, and passion for the product
• Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills, quick to grasp new technologies
• Basic understanding of the customers being served

Bonus Points

• Knowledge and experience in secure programming. Knowledge of network and network protocols
• Proficient in using tools for CI/CD deployment
• Experience solving one of the following problems, including but not limited to: performance optimization, large system design, big data processing, algorithms, scaling, complex technical issues
• Understanding of database indexing mechanisms, experience solving analysis and query optimization problems
• Collaboration skills, ability to work cross-functionally to achieve the best common results
