Four Hands, a leading designer and wholesaler of furniture and décor, is looking for an innovative and experienced BI Supervisor. This role will lead the design, development and maintenance of ETL processes and reporting with a strong reliance on the Microsoft platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team leader, not a passive individual. Active engagement with stakeholders and process owners will be required, facilitating the translation of business requirements into practical data solutions. The BI Supervisor, Intl will report to the Ass. Director of Product Data & Analytics, Intl. 

In This Role:

• Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to critically review and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Evaluate cross-departmental business needs and implications, incorporating them into the specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of solutions, in addition to data mapping and ETL processes 
• Identify opportunities to streamline data flows, improve data efficiency, and reduce manual effort through process improvements
• Supervise and partake in the International BI team’s activities, in alignment with the needs of senior management and overall company objectives
• Build strong, positive, and collaborative relationships with other teams, departments and within the International BI team.

Your Skills and Experience

• 4+ years’ experience with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervision role.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, where you can focus on the details without losing sight of the ‘bigger picture’.
• Ability to understand business questions/requests and be able to suggest proper BI solutions which are measurable and scalable.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (English proficiency required).
• Adaptability and problem-solving are paramount skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft ADF and Power BI – the ability to work in and advise/troubleshoot with the team is essential.
• Proficiency in SQL – the ability to do code reviews with the team is essential, along with writing your own queries.
• Domain knowledge is advantageous – Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality.
• Familiarity with KNIME is advantageous.
