We are looking for a Bridge Software Engineer (BrSE) who will connect teams across Japan, Korea, and Vietnam, ensuring smooth communication, clear requirements, and high-quality product delivery.

This role goes beyond translation.
You will understand business intent, structure requirements, guide development, and resolve misalignment between stakeholders and development teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement & Specification Bridging

Understand, analyze, and organize requirements, specifications, and background information from Japan and Korea.

Translate and clearly explain requirements to the Vietnam development team with technical context.

Identify ambiguities, missing requirements, and potential risks proactively.

2. Development Coordination & Direction

Break down requirements into development tasks.

Adjust priorities and manage schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.

Handle Q&A during development and resolve misunderstandings promptly.

Maintain alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.

3. Team Direction & Onboarding

Provide direction and daily support to the Vietnam development team.

Support onboarding of new team members by explaining system context, workflows, and background.

Act as a central communication hub between Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.

4. Quality & Delivery Support

Support testing phases from a requirement and specification perspective.

Prevent specification gaps and misinterpretations to ensure product quality.

Support smooth handover to release and operation phases.

Your Skills and Experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Practical experience as a Bridge Software Engineer
• Experience working with offshore or multinational development teams
• Strong ability to logically organize requirements and explain them clearly
• Solid IT literacy, including:
  • Understanding of web service architecture
  • Knowledge of APIs, databases, frontend/backend roles
  • Familiarity with software development terminology
• Business-level Japanese proficiency
  • Ability to accurately understand and explain requirements, specifications, and background
• English communication skills (reac and written)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following:
  • Web service development (Ruby, PHP, JavaScript)
  • Database design or SQL
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development
• Project management or progress control experience
• HR domain knowledge
• Experience creating requirement definitions or specification documents independently
• Experience working in Japan or handling projects for Japanese companies
