About this role:

The Business Development Executive plays an important role in expanding the company’s client network within the e-commerce and digital commerce ecosystem. The position focuses on identifying and developing partnerships with brands and online sellers operating on platforms such as TikTok Shop, Shopee, and other digital commerce channels.

This role is suitable for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in business development, e-commerce operations, or digital marketing, who are interested in building a career in B2C digital commerce and e-commerce services.

High-performing candidates will have a clear opportunity to progress to Business Development Manager based on performance and capability.


1. Business Development – New Clients (70%)

• Identify and approach brands, online sellers, and businesses operating on e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop and Shopee.

Understand client needs and introduce suitable e-commerce operations support, digital marketing, and performance marketing solutions.

• Conduct sales calls, online meetings, and presentations with potential clients to present the company’s services.

• Prepare proposals, quotations, and service packages aligned with client needs, with support from senior team members when required.

• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closing.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and business development KPIs.


2. Client Account Support – Existing Clients (30%)

• Support the management of existing clients and act as a key contact point when needed.

Build relationships with brands and e-commerce sellers to better understand their business goals.

Coordinate with internal teams including Performance Marketing, Content, Creative, and E-commerce Operations to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor service quality, timelines, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.

Identify opportunities for upselling or additional services with guidance from senior team members.


3. Internal Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with internal teams to translate client requirements into clear internal briefs.

• Support onboarding of new clients and coordinate project delivery across departments.

• Track project progress and assist in preparing campaign performance updates or reports.

• Proactively identify potential risks, issues, or opportunities and work with internal teams to address them.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, E-commerce Operations, Digital Marketing, or related roles.

Candidates with experience working with e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop, Shopee, or other online marketplaces are highly encouraged to apply.

Hands-on experience or understanding of e-commerce store operations, platform campaigns, or digital commerce activities is a strong advantage.

Strong interest in B2C e-commerce, digital commerce, and online business environments.

• Good communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams and support client-facing communication.

• Proactive mindset, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced digital commerce environment.

• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).

• Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
