Job Description

Job Purpose:

Provide professional technical advice to our customers through on-site support for paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met and the job is completed according to the contract and customer satisfaction.

The position will report to the Northern Area Technical Service Manager and will be based in Hai Phong.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise surface preparation and paint application for Protective & Marine Coatings paint.

• Operate daily technical service by planning, directing, and evaluating workflow, painting procedures, and paint supply to ensure project quality and timing.

• Communicate, provide, and monitor technical advice to applicators, consultants, contractors, and owners.

• Handle on-site complaints by checking, verifying, and providing technical advice to ensure customer satisfaction with Jotun’s service and products.

• Obtain market situation reports on completed projects to ensure Jotun remains competitive.

• Understand Jotun’s HSE policy, the role of the Coating Advisor, and relevant working processes.

• University graduate in Chemistry, Mechanical, Construction, Marine/Shipyard, Technology, or other relevant fields.

• 1-3 years of experience in technical support and customer service; experience in Protective Coatings, Marine Coatings, or paint technical service is preferable.

• High sense of responsibility and professionalism to represent Jotun at construction sites.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Good communication skills.

• Proficiency in English and computer skills.
