The Commercial & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing commercial and marketing strategies to drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and ensure strong market performance.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with brand strategies and optimize sales and marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
A. Commercial Strategy & Sales Performance
• Analyze sell-in / sell-out performance, productivity, and market share to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare monthly purchase forecasts based on sales trends and market demand.
• Conduct sales performance analysis across retail channels and product categories.
• Monitor counter stock levels and retail performance to ensure optimal inventory management.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and business performance reviews.
• Develop and present annual business plans and commercial strategies.
• Ensure internal teams understand brand objectives, commercial priorities, and sales targets.
B. Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
• Plan, manage, and monitor Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets, including planning, execution, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Conduct market research and beauty trend analysis to identify consumer insights and market opportunities.
• Develop and maintain the Annual Brand Calendar, including product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Oversee marketing activities at retail counters, including in-store promotions, POSM, and visual merchandising.
• Manage collaborations with KOLs/KOCs and marketing partners to enhance brand awareness.
• Localize global brand campaigns to suit the Vietnam market.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
C. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Finance & Accounting to track marketing budgets and financial performance.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations to ensure product availability and smooth operations.
• Align with brand principals and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand execution.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, or retail industry is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English communication (both written and spoken).
