Position Overview
We are looking for 2-3 Data Engineer (Fresher) to join our growing engineering team.
In this role, you will support end-to-end data infrastructure, consulting, and delivery for clients across diverse industries. From ingestion to visualization, you’ll contribute to building reliable data pipelines, refactoring existing layers, and scaling multi-tenant data catalog systems that support real-time decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design and development of crawler systems and data pipelines to collect data from e-commerce platforms, including login-required sources and open APIs and third-party services (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte, Apify)
- Testing, validating, and checking data from APIs and crawling processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
- Migrate and optimize pipelines from ETL to ELT to enhance agility and responsiveness
- Contribute to the design of high-performance data models using DBT and modern materialization strategies
- Support the optimization of cost-efficiency and scalability of GCP cloud infrastructure for data workflows
- Support refactoring and modularizing the pipeline layer structure to clarify ownership and streamline functionality
- Support pipeline orchestration using tools like Prefect
- Assist in monitoring the DataOps environment, ensuring long-term stability and reliability for each client
- Documenting technical processes and contributing to internal knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Experience building data crawling/scraping pipelines using Python libraries such as BeautifulSoup (bs4) or Selenium.
- Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Python and interest in scripting and automation
- Solid foundation in SQL/NoSQL, including writing queries, understanding table schemas, and basic query and table optimization.
- Basic knowledge of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and networking concepts.
- Curiosity about commerce data and its business applications
- Good communication skills to work with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders

- Exposure to designing or learning about ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
- Basic knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, or cloud-based architectures
- Interest in DBT, semantic modeling, and performance tuning
- 13th-month salary: calculated as one month's actual basic salary if the employee works for 12 months of the calendar year.
