Job Summary
We are looking for talented DevOps Engineers to manage, operate, and optimize our core payment platform (WAY4) and various system integration hubs. Depending on your expertise, you will be assigned to specialized teams to ensure the stability of financial transaction flows or to build high-performance integrated infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Maintenance: Operate and maintain the WAY4 Core Card system and its satellite systems (Fraud, Loyalty, CRM, Data Warehouse) in production and UAT environments.
- CI/CD & Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) to ensure fast, secure, and reliable deployments.
- Modern Infrastructure Management: Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and configurations using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- System Monitoring: Design and implement centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Integration & Connectivity: Manage and monitor batch processes, transaction flows, and payment interfaces (API, ISO 8583) across systems.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure system configurations comply with banking security standards, including PCI DSS and Circular 50 (Cir-50).
- Technical Collaboration: Coordinate with card product teams, vendors (e.g., OpenWay), and internal stakeholders on version upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of coding languages and shell scripting; Python, Java, or Ruby is a plus..
- DevOps Expertise: Solid experience in building CI/CD pipelines and managing high-availability, high-volume transaction systems.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Business Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of card payment processing flows (authorization, clearing, settlement) or experience with WAY4/Core Card platforms is a plus
- Databases: Experience working with Oracle Database or PostgreSQL for payment and transaction systems.
- Experience in managing and deploying microservices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and the ability to document operational knowledge effectively.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
4. Nice to Have
- Experience in load testing and performance optimization for large-scale transaction systems.
- Participation in WAY4 version upgrades or major system migration projects.
