The Role: Digital Delivery Engineer

The Digital Delivery Engineer (Automation & AI focused) is responsible for developing, testing, and implementing digital tools, AI applications, and automation solutions to support project delivery and business operations. This role requires strong coding capability, system thinking, and hands- on experimentation, with the ability to translate operational needs into scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain digital tools, applications, and automation solutions to support project delivery and business operations;
• Design and implement automated workflows and systems to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort;
• Build and maintain dashboards and data-driven solutions for reporting and decision support;
• Research, test, and evaluate digital platforms, software, and AI technologies, and support their practical application;
• Collaborate with project teams and business units to identify opportunities for digital improvement and innovation;
• Translate operational requirements into scalable and reliable digital solutions;
• Support continuous improvement of digital workflows, standards, and internal platforms.

Your Skills and Experience

Minimum Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university;
• Additional training in software development, data, or digital systems is an advantage.

Minimum Years/Type of Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital delivery, software development, automation, or technical innovation roles;
• Experience working in AEC, consultancy, or project-based environments is an advantage but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency

• English: Professional working;
• Additional languages: Proficiency in other languages is an advantage. 

Technical Competencies

• Strong coding and scripting capability (e.g. Python, JavaScript, C#, or equivalent);
• Experience in developing internal tools, utilities, or applications (desktop, web, or cloud- based);
• Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Power Platform;
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations (e.g. Power BI, custom web dashboards);
• Understanding of APIs, data integration, and automation workflows;
• Practical experience or strong interest in AI technologies, including testing, prototyping, and integrating AI solutions into workflows;
• Familiarity with BIM tools or digital delivery platforms (e.g. Revit, ACC, Navisworks) is an advantage.
