Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in developing web applications to join our up and coming Talosix team in Ho Chi Minh City. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer you will be responsible in building and scaling healthcare applications, working tightly with a highly multi-disciplinary and cross-geography team composed of data scientists, data engineers, project managers and healthcare domain experts and customers.
The application and use of AI is central to how we work at Talosix. We expect every engineer on our team to actively seek, adopt, and champion AI-powered tools and practices — not as a nice-to-have, but as a core discipline. Finding ways to optimize and streamline development workflows, improve code quality, reduce cycle time, and move faster through intelligent automation is a critical expectation of this role.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions, making key decisions on technology stack, frameworks, and best practices.
- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver robust and user-friendly applications.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline improvements, cloud infrastructure management, and automated deployment processes.
- Research and evaluate new methodologies and technologies that improve the quality, reliability, and performance of the front-end department’s software development systems and processes.
- Proactively identify and implement AI-driven optimizations across the development lifecycle — from code generation and test automation to code review, documentation, and deployment — to continuously raise team velocity and output quality.
- Serve as an internal advocate and practitioner for AI tooling adoption, sharing techniques, resources, and workflows that help the broader engineering team move faster and build better.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with experience in modern web application stacks.
- Proficient in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript.
- Greatly proficient in web technologies such as React JS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Redux.
- Solid experience in cross-browser compatibility, client-side security, browser tuning and optimization techniques/tools.
- Backend service experience in Python, NodeJS, Scala, and/or Java.
- Solid proficiency in SQL for querying, extracting, cleaning and preparing data.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search, and JWT.
- Experience working with one of the core cloud platforms and its associated products (AWS, GCP, or Azure) as related to architecting and building cloud solutions and/or data pipelines is a plus.
- Experience in AI-driven development tools and practices, including proficiency with AI coding assistants like Cursor or Claude within VS Code, to generate code, unit tests, and test cases, ensuring high efficiency and quality in development workflows.
- A proven mindset of continuous improvement — you actively look for ways to use AI and automation to eliminate friction, reduce toil, and accelerate delivery. You don’t wait to be asked; you surface ideas and experiments that make the team measurably faster and better.
- Passionate early adopter of bleeding-edge AI technologies, with the ability to act as a spokesperson and advocate for AI integration, sharing best practices, third-party resources (e.g., videos, tutorials), and techniques to modernize and accelerate the team’s traditional development processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and inspire team members, driving adoption of AI coding techniques and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency in software development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working with global and remote teams will be an added bonus.
