The Job
- Develop HTML5 games using Cocos Creator (2.x / 3.x).
- Design code architecture & core systems (gameplay, UI, asset pipeline, state management).
- Optimize browser performance: FPS, CPU/GPU, memory usage, and loading time.
- Understand & optimize the WebGL rendering pipeline: draw calls, batching, textures, shaders.
- Build UI / Animation / Effects systems that are visually appealing while maintaining smooth performance.
- Fix bugs, optimize performance, and continuously improve the product during live operation.
- Work closely with the Backend, Art / Game Designer / QC teams to ensure smooth integration and deliverables.
- Hands-on experience using Cocos Creator for Webgame / HTML5 Game development.
- Has participated in at least 1 real released product (not only isolated modules).
- Able to work independently: self-manage tasks, deliver outputs, and take responsibility for results.
- Strong product mindset: cares about quality, performance, and player experience.
- Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, C++, and C# is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Unity/ Phaser.
- Experience in webgame optimization, especially on mobile web.
- Understanding of backend flow and real-time API such as socket or polling.
- English listening and speaking skills for work.
