ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Product Director who is responsible for defining and executing the overall product vision and strategy, leading cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative products that align with market needs, drive business growth, while ensuring a strong focus on customer demands and achieving product-market fit, all within the dynamic environment of a rapidly scaling Start-up.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Visionand Strategy:

• Develop and articulate a clear productvision that alignswith the company's overall goals.
• Define and prioritize productroadmaps based on market research,customer feedback, and data analysis.
• Conduct market analysisto identify opportunities and potential threats.

Product Development and Management:

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept ideationto launch and ongoing iteration.
• Lead productteams, including productmanagers, designers, and engineers, to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features and managedevelopment timelines.

Customer Focus:

• Deep understanding customer needs and pain points throughuser research and feedback mechanisms.
• Champion a customer-centric approach to productdevelopment.
• Monitor key product metricsto measure customersatisfaction and identifyareas for improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closelywith marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure alignmenton product strategy and messaging.
• Communicate product visionand roadmap effectively to stakeholders across the organization.

Data-Driven DecisionMaking:

• Leverage data analytics to inform productdecisions and measuresuccess.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track productperformance.

Team Buildingand Leadership:

• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing product team members.
• Foster a cultureof innovation and continuous improvement within the productteam.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and the challenges of rapid growth
• Proven experience in product management, including product strategydevelopment, road mapping, and launch execution
• Prefer candidates who has background in e-commerce with a strong knowledge of consumer-facing (marketing, user acquisition ...) to partner, merchant, fulfillment, inventory, payment
• Candidates from Shopee, Tiki, Lazada, Sendo, Grab, Chotot… are welcome to apply
• Deep in customer empathy and ability to gather and analyze customer feedback
• Excellent communication and collaboration skillsto work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Data-driven decision-making skills and abilityto interpret complexmetrics
• Strong leadership abilities to build and motivatehigh-performing product teams
