The Job
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures, with a strong focus on test automation and scalability.
- Evaluate, integrate, and optimize AI-driven tools for testing, defect detection, and quality analysis.
- Oversee defect management: ensure effective identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution of product issues.
- Define, review, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Partner closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality standards throughout all stages of the SDLC.
- Monitor, analyze, and act on quality metrics to drive continuous product and process improvements.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level QC members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with emerging QC methodologies, automation frameworks, and AI applications to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.Required Skills
- Experience: 4+ years in Quality Control/QA
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and QA best practices (manual & automation).
Technical Skills: - Proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Rest Assured, Okhttp, etc.).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and version control (Git).
- Exposure to AI/ML-based testing tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members.
