The Role

We’re looking for an Android Developer with deep platform knowledge to work on our proprietary device security and management stack. This isn’t a typical app dev role—you’ll be working at the system level with device policies, hardware-backed security features, and low-level Android APIs. What You’ll Work On

• Develop and extend our custom Device Policy Controller (DPC) built on Android’s DevicePolicyManager APIs
• Implement hardware-backed security features leveraging TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) and secure storage
• Build device enrollment flows, provisioning workflows, and over-the-air policy enforcement
• Design resilient device lock/unlock mechanisms that survive factory reset and recovery mode attempts
• Integrate with our backend platform for real-time device status, command execution, and telemetry
• Ensure compliance with Google’s Android Enterprise and Play Protect policies

Your Skills and Experience

Requirements

• 3+ years of native Android development with Kotlin and/or Java
• Deep understanding of Android’s DevicePolicyManager, Device Owner, and Profile Owner APIs
• Experience with Android system-level features: device admin, managed provisioning, or enterprise mobility
• Familiarity with Android security architecture including Keystore, TEE, and hardware-backed attestation
• Comfortable working with REST APIs, background services, and persistent device-to-server communication
• Ability to debug complex device-level issues across multiple OEMs and Android versions

Nice to Have

• Experience building or working with MDM/EMM solutions
• Knowledge of RPMB (Replay Protected Memory Block) or secure firmware storage
• Background in device financing, telecom, or emerging market tech
• Experience with Samsung Knox APIs or similar OEM security frameworks
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills
