Project Context
- You will join a fintech project with strong requirements in performance, security, and reliability.
- The product is business critical and serves international clients at scale.
- You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams in an agile environment.
Position Details
- Role: Senior Backend Developer Java
- Start date: ASAP
- Engagement: Long term
- Shift overlap: Required availability from 5:00 PM to o 2:00 AM Vietnam time (minimum 8 hours of work)
- Language: English is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java
- Work with Micronaut and Spring Boot based architectures
- Build and maintain scalable and secure APIs
- Integrate and manage relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications using logging and monitoring tools
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Strong experience with Micronaut and or Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Experience with MySQL and Oracle databases
- Hands on experience with AWS services such as EC2 and SQS
- Familiarity with Splunk Core or similar monitoring tools
- Good understanding of performance, security, and scalability concepts
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB
- Experience working on fintech or high availability systems
- Exposure to cloud native and microservices architectures
