JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for programming and developing Backend systems for the Corporation’s technology products/applications, as well as collaborating with relevant teams throughout the development and operational lifecycle.

1. Product Development

• Develop backend systems including servers, applications, and databases.
• Conduct system testing and optimization.
• Build and maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.
• Research and propose solutions to minimize risks and potential issues.

2. System Operations & Optimization

• Operate, monitor, and ensure system performance and reliability.
• Evaluate system efficiency and scalability during updates and optimization processes.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues arising during operations.
• Perform other related professional tasks as assigned.

Your Skills and Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in backend development using Golang or Node.js.
• Relational: MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or T-SQL
• Non-relational: MongoDB, ElasticSearch, or column-based databases
• Caching technologies (Redis, Aerospike)
• Hands-on experience building and operating scalable, high-CCU systems with solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Git, CI/CD, Unit Testing, and performance testing tools (e.g., Apache Benchmark, K6).
• Knowledge of Kafka, cloud platforms (AWS / GCP), and security standards including authentication (HTTP Basic, OAuth), data protection, and GDPR.
• Preferred experience in OTT/entertainment products; exposure to video streaming systems is a plus.
