The Job
- Define test strategy and estimation for new features/releases
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases/plans for web & mobile applications
- Build and expand automated test suites (UI, API, E2E)
- Perform manual, regression, and exploratory testing
- Identify, report, and track defects through resolution with developers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality gates (automated test integration)
- Improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies continuously
- Apply product-oriented mindset — proactively suggest UI/UX improvements
- Leverage AI tools to optimize QA workflows and testing efficiency
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience
- 3+ years in QA for web and mobile applications
- Solid understanding of SDLC & STLC — able to participate from requirement analysis through release validation
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum, shift-left, risk-based)
- Hands-on API testing (Postman, REST/GraphQL)
Technical
- Test automation with modern frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Mobile testing with Appium or equivalent tools
- Working knowledge of iOS & Android platforms (device fragmentation, OS-specific behaviors)
- Familiar with at least one programming/scripting language: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java
- Experience with test management & bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Detail-oriented with clear written/verbal communication
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
- Performance testing experience (k6, JMeter, Locust)
- Security testing fundamentals (OWASP top 10 awareness)
- CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) — running tests in pipelines
- API test automation (Newman, Playwright API testing, or custom frameworks)
- Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation for QA tasks
- AI-assisted testing workflows (test generation, smart regression selection)
- Database querying for test data validation (SQL)
- Experience with Docker/containerized test environments
