Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform. This role involves collaborating with various teams, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving our Shopify-based products and processes. 

• Work directly with the client to develop, customize, and manage eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform, including themes, Liquid programming, and related apps, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with the team to maintain and improve website functionality and performance.
• Implement and modify themes, and make custom changes to existing Shopify sites, using TypeScript (React.js) with a Headless experience.
• Knowledge of third-party integrations and APIs to enhance site functionality and optimize performance and security.

Your Skills and Experience

• From 3 years of experience developing within the Shopify platform and Shopify template structure and language, experience in building custom themes and features from scratch, as well as modifications to existing elements.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React.js).
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, Headless, and subscription models.
• Deep Backend expertise (ideally in E-Commerce)
• Experience with Shopify Functions and Shopify Checkout UI Extensions is a big bonus
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
• Fluent in business English with effective communication skills to interact with customers and the development team.
• Willingness to adapt flexibly to changes in clients' requirements and urgent requests.
