JOB PURPOSE

The Workforce Strategy & Intelligence role is responsible for validating market demand signals, enabling integrated capacity planning, managing outsource pricing visibility, and providing actionable insights to support scalable workforce decisions.

This position ensures data-driven alignment between forecast, capacity configuration, cost structure, and operational readiness across core and extended workforce models.

JOB DUTIES

Execute any or all of the following responsibilities as directed and allocated by the superior and/or manager


1. Demand Validation & Forecast Governance

- Validate demand forecasts against historical trends, seasonality patterns, and commercial pipeline signals.

- Identify forecast gaps and risk exposure impacting workforce sizing.

- Provide structured recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and timing alignment.


2. Integrated Capacity Planning

- Develop integrated capacity models covering core workforce and extended resources.

- Simulate scale-up / scale-down scenarios based on seasonal demand.

- Support workforce configuration decisions (fixed vs. variable mix).

- Monitor capacity utilization and exposure levels.


3. Outsource Price Visibility & Cost Modeling

- Maintain visibility of outsource pricing structures across product/ component.

- Support cost comparison between internal and external capacity models.

- Identify cost-out opportunities through pricing optimization and mix adjustments.

- Provide trustable & single data source to C&B and commercial discussions when relevant.


4. Actionable Insights for Workforce Decisions

- Translate data into actionable recommendations for capacity allocation.

- Support leadership with dashboards and scenario-based analysis.

- Identify structural risks affecting scalability, quality, or engagement.

- Contribute to automation initiatives in workforce planning processes.

Requirements

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, or related disciplines.


Professional knowledge

- Strong understanding of workforce planning and seasonal business dynamics.

- Knowledge of forecasting principles and capacity modeling.

- Awareness of outsource pricing structures and cost optimization levers.

- Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel advanced, SQL; Python is a plus).

- Experience in dashboard development and automation of reporting processes.


Supplementary knowledge

- Awareness of internal control principles related to cost discipline and data integrity.

- Familiarity with change management concepts in workforce restructuring initiatives.

Experience

- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in business analytics, workforce planning, financial modeling, or operations analysis.

- Experience in seasonal or outsourcing-heavy environments is preferred.
