Your role & responsibilities

About Electron Cyan

We are not building a typical AI wrapper. We are developing the Infrastructure OS for next-generation, real-time AI translation.

• Our Achievement: Our proprietary "Dedicated Real-Time Proxy" architecture has already achieved sub-200ms latency, crushing the industry standard of 1,200ms found in traditional REST API implementations.
• Strategic Position: Currently backed by the Google Cloud for Startups program, providing us direct access to high-performance GPU infrastructure (H100/A100).
• Current Stack: Node.js (Core Logic), WebRTC/WebSocket, ONNX Runtime.

 

The Challenge

We are looking for a "System Wizard" to bridge the gap between the agility of JavaScript and the brutal performance requirements of Deep Tech. You won't be building CRUD APIs; you will be solving the "Latency vs. Scale" paradox:

• Hybrid Core Engine: Architect and optimize high-performance modules using Rust or C++ (via Node.js Addons/N-API) to handle heavy data streaming and inference tasks that standard JS cannot sustain.
• Latency Engineering: Implement Predictive Buffering and advanced network protocols to reduce P99 Jitter from 200ms to under 40ms.
• GPU Orchestration: Optimize the data pipeline between Node.js and NVIDIA GPUs on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), aiming for >85% hardware utilization.
• Global Scalability: Transition our prototype into a production-grade system capable of handling 10,000+ concurrent real-time sessions without latency degradation.

 

Your skills & qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Core Expertise: Mastery of Node.js/TypeScript but with a Systems Programming mindset. Ability to write performance-critical code in Rust or C++ is a massive plus.
• Low-level Knowledge: Deep understanding of Memory Management, the Event Loop, Worker Threads, and asynchronous I/O optimization.
• Infrastructure Skills: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and managing GPU-accelerated workloads in the cloud.
• Founder Mindset: You don't just write code; you challenge the architecture. You are ready to "grind" to build a global-first infrastructure product.
