Job Description

1. Job Objective

Responsible for managing all warehouse operations related to raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage conditions, and timely supply of materials to support production. The role ensures traceability through lot number control, accurate material quantity verification, efficient warehouse systems such as barcode tracking, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Organize and supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and issuing of materials.

• Ensure materials are properly stored and preserved in terms of type, quantity, and quality.

• Maintain warehouse layout and storage methods to ensure efficient space utilization and safe handling.

Incoming Material Control

• Verify quantity of incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.

• Control and manage lot number tracking for incoming materials to ensure material traceability.

• Ensure correct labeling and identification of all incoming materials.

Material Supply to Production

• Monitor material availability according to production plans and order schedules.

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, and Production departments to ensure materials are available before production launch.

• Ensure materials are issued accurately and on time to avoid production delays.

Inventory Control & ERP Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP system.

• Ensure all warehouse transactions are recorded timely and correctly.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic inventory audits.

• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Material Traceability & FIFO Control

• Implement FIFO / FEFO principles for material issuance.

• Maintain material traceability using lot number control and barcode systems.

• Support quality investigation by providing traceability data when required.

Barcode System Management

• Implement and manage barcode systems for raw materials and finished goods.

• Ensure barcode processes support accurate inventory tracking and warehouse efficiency.

• Coordinate with IT and relevant departments to improve digital warehouse management.

Transportation & Delivery Coordination

• Manage transportation activities related to material movement and finished goods delivery.

• Ensure shipments comply with agreed delivery terms and logistics requirements.

• Coordinate with logistics providers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Warehouse Layout & Inventory Optimization

• Continuously improve warehouse layout to enhance storage efficiency and material flow.

• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete materials and coordinate actions to reduce excess inventory.

Warehouse Team Management

• Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks.

• Train warehouse personnel on procedures, safety, and inventory management practices.

• Monitor staff performance and ensure efficient teamwork.

• Plan and optimize warehouse manpower allocation to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with labor safety regulations and fire prevention requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Continuous Improvement

• Propose improvements to warehouse processes, storage systems, and material handling methods.

• Improve warehouse efficiency and support production operations.

Reporting

• Monitor and report inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance.

• Provide regular reports to management regarding warehouse operations and inventory status.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks assigned by the Factory Director or company management when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse management, preferably in manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control, and warehouse accounting.

• Experience implementing barcode systems for materials or finished goods preferred.

• Experience managing transportation and delivery coordination.
