Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions (LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines) to automate data collection, cleaning, transformation, and reporting across departments.
• Build intelligent data workflows that enable non-technical teams to self-serve insights with minimal manual intervention.
• Continuously explore and integrate new AI tools and techniques to improve data processing efficiency. Cross-Functional Data Ownership
• Act as the primary data partner for all departments — understand each team's business context and deliver tailored data pipelines, dashboards, and automated reports.
• Work closely with Data Science, BI, Product, and Business teams to develop data models for research, reporting, and machine learning.
• Develop automation scripts (Python) and internal APIs to support CRM, Admin frameworks, and ad hoc business projects. Data Infrastructure & Engineering
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Architect and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to support growing business needs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all systems and touchpoints. Data Security & Compliance
• Build and maintain data infrastructure that meets ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS requirements.
• Implement data encryption (at rest and in transit), role-based access control, audit logging, and data masking for sensitive financial data.
• Establish data classification, retention policies, and ensure full traceability across all data pipelines.
• Collaborate with the Compliance & Security team to pass audits and maintain certifications.

Your Skills and Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
• Solid experience with databases: PostgreSQL, BigQuery, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience designing and building ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipelines.
• Technical proficiency in database design, data modeling, and data mining techniques. AI & Automation
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building solutions with AI/LLM tools — not just using them, but integrating them into real workflows.
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, etc.), and familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and RAG architectures is a strong plus.
• Ability to identify opportunities where AI can replace or enhance manual data processes. Security & Compliance Awareness
• Understanding of information security principles aligned with ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
• Experience (or strong willingness to learn) implementing data encryption, secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS), access control, and audit trails.
• Awareness of data privacy regulations and best practices in handling sensitive financial data. Startup Mindset & Soft Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS environments.
