By accessing or using DevArchitect (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the service.

2. Description of Service

DevArchitect is an AI-powered job board that helps remote tech professionals discover relevant job opportunities. Our features include:

• Browsing and searching curated tech job listings.
• AI-powered CV analysis and job matching (CV Matcher).
• Email subscription for new job alerts.

The Platform is provided on an “as-is” basis. We do not guarantee job placement, employer responses, or employment outcomes of any kind.

3. Free Tier & Usage Limits

The CV Matcher feature provides one free CV analysis per email address. By submitting your CV, you consent to us processing your CV content using AI and storing the resulting profile and job matches linked to your email.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the free tier at any time without notice.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Only upload CVs that you own or have explicit permission to submit.
• Not submit false, misleading, or fabricated information.
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the free-tier system (e.g., by registering multiple email addresses).
• Not use the Platform to scrape, copy, or redistribute job listings without our written consent.
• Not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the design, code, text, logos, and AI-generated summaries — is the property of DevArchitect or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of your CV and any personal data you submit. By uploading your CV, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store that data solely for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Job Listings

Job listings are sourced from third-party websites and are provided for informational purposes only.DevArchitect does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing, and is not responsible for the hiring decisions of any employer. Always verify job details directly with the employer before applying.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

AI-generated CV analysis and job matching are provided as a convenience tool and may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances. Always use your own judgement when applying for jobs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevArchitect and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed USD $10.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time and request deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where DevArchitect is registered.
