Job Description
Leads the industrialization process for assigned T1 partners, managing to ensure a seamless transition from tech pack to production
1. INDUSTRIALIZATION
- Collaborate with factories upon receiving Product Tech Pack; promptly communicate any constraints or feasibility concerns to avoid inefficient sample production.
- Ensure coordination between Product Managers and factories throughout the production phase of PPR to SMS, ensuring:
- All assigned products are produced in accordance with design and specification requirements provided by Product Manager.
- Product evaluations are thoroughly conducted, covering fit, quality, pattern, and commercial feasibility. Review samples to identify potential quality risks.
- Proactively follow up with factory and Product Managers if any sample discrepancy is observed to ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with factories and the quality team during the SMS stage to proactively identify and address potential issues during the transition from commercialization to bulk production.
- Execute commercialization procedures per the established timeline to deliver an on-time production launch while maintaining product quality
2. COST
-Collaborate with factories, suppliers, and the Costing team to:
- Ensure factories provide reasonable costings, validate SMV and consumption with a clear understanding of the methodology.
- Optimize the value/cost ratio during the development stage.
- When there is a costing issue with the product, we can proactively work with the supplier to offer options that maximize margin while minimizing the impact on the design.
3. LEAN
-Work closely with the ME (Manufacturing Excellence) team and factories to maximize lean processes and drive efficiency improvements, so that final reflect to costing.
4. DUAL SORCING
-Support the dual sourcing process as needed:
- If the assigned factory needs to duplicate products from the primary factory, lead the dual sourcing process to ensure that the secondary factory's products are 100% aligned with the primary factory in terms of quality, specifications, and construction.
- If the assigned factory acts as the mother factory, ensure they share all necessary documentation and provide full support to the internal team as required.
- New factory on board training if needed.
5. OTHERS
-Collect, validate, and maintain production-related information such as lead times, production minimums, and capacity constraints.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and factories to enhance supply chain efficiency, including flexibility, shorter lead times, and continuous quality improvements.
-Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc reports as required by management.
Responsible Sourcing/ Purchasing (RPP):
— Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the supply chain

• Diploma/Degree in textile studies or related field
• At least 5-8 years’ working experience in the apparel industry
• Strong product, process and production knowledge within Knit & Woven apparel, including technical products, such as SKI JKT, seam sealing products
• Strong communication and negotiation skills internally and with factories
• Good command of English, both writing and speaking
• Has team spirit, interpersonal skills, and respect for others
• Well organized, Lean and systematic approach, able to work Multi-task / Multi seasons
• Proficient computer skills in MS office (World, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
• Willing to travel overseas if needed
