
Physical Security Lead

Job Description
• Manage and supervise outsourced security service providers and site supervisors
• Define security requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors
• Ensure continuous physical protection of company facilities (24/7 where applicable)
• Oversee access control systems, CCTV, alarms, and physical security infrastructure
• Develop and implement physical security policies, procedures, and asset protection strategies
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and physical inspections of production areas, warehouses, and restricted zones
• Establish and enforce physical control procedures for movement of materials, equipment, and finished goods
• Supervise physical checks of vehicles, shipments, and personnel in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Monitor high-risk areas for theft, losses, and unauthorized access
• Prevent theft, fraud, and unauthorized removal of company property
• Investigate security incidents, asset losses, and breaches
• Coordinate emergency response and crisis management actions
• Liaise with law enforcement and external authorities when required
• Analyze loss trends and implement corrective and preventive measures
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record keeping of security and asset-related incidents
• Train outsourced security staff and relevant employees on security and asset protection procedures
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – Physical Security
• Reliability and continuity of physical security coverage (24/7 site protection)
• Compliance with physical security procedures, access control rules, and safety protocols
• Response time to security incidents and emergencies
• Number and severity of security incidents (theft, unauthorized access, safety breaches)
• Effectiveness of asset protection and loss prevention measures
• Performance and discipline of outsourced security personnel
• Results of physical inspections and security audits
• Reduction in material losses and security-related risks
• System uptime and functionality of CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Adherence to SLAs and contractual obligations by security vendors
Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Law, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in security (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) will be an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in corporate, industrial, or facility security management.
• Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, crisis management, and emergency response planning.
• Experience working with local authorities, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems, access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Understanding of occupational safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs.
