Tech Lead (React / Node.js)

Your role & responsibilities

• Support CTO in platform development and team growth
• Own project planning, delivery, and technical architecture decisions
• Lead technical discussions and whiteboard complex solutions
• Design and implement complex data models and system architecture
• Advocate for proper development practices and mentor team members
• Collaborate with product team on feature planning and definition

Your skills & qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years as a solution architect or equivalent role.
• Full-stack expertise with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React (frontend), and Node.js (backend)
• Infrastructure knowledge: Cloud architecture, deployment, scalability (GCP/AWS), Kubernetes, Terraform
• Technical leadership - ability to whiteboard solutions, foresee technical challenges, and make strategic architectural decisions
• Complex data modeling - experience designing and working with sophisticated data structures and architectures
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB etc.)
• Knowledge of Cloud services such as Google Cloud or AWS
• Organizing and structuring platform code to make it highly efficient, maintainable and reusable
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to work hard, both on your own and as part of a team
• Soft skills & communication - able to explain solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and engage with clients to understand business needs.
• Ownership mindset - proactive in taking responsibility and ensuring quality delivery.
• Certifications (optional) - programming or cloud (AWS, GCP) certifications are a plus.

• Complex systems experience in financial, banking, or sustainability sectors
• AI knowledge and application in business systems
